Overview:
Lake Ridge Bank is excited to search for a Treasury Management Sales Specialist located at our Monona office off Bridge Road! This position will be responsible for identifing, analyzing, selling, and supporting treasury management services and products to both existing and prospective business clients independently and jointly with Business Relationship Managers and Retail Managers. Responsibility to build strong mutually beneficial relationships with business clients. Partner with Business Relationship Managers and Retail Managers to present and onboard new business deposit opportunities. Responsibility to stay current with the latest in treasury management products and services and advocate for the development of new treasury management products and services. Accountability for overall profitability of product offerings.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide treasury management support to prospective new clients through opportunities generated by Business Relationship Managers, Retail Managers, Executive Bankers, Mortgage Lenders and the Wealth Department.
  • Lead bank’s existing Business client Relationship Review process for the expansion of existing relationships and the generation of revenue.
  • Develop new deposit and treasury management opportunities through direct calling on prospective and existing clients, and development of bank cross-sale and marketing strategies.
  • Be a resource and partner for retail associates in their efforts to expand usage of treasury management products and services
  • Respond to Request for Proposals by the requested deadline.
  • Work to achieve a high level of customer retention by delivering extraordinary customer service
  • Periodically review existing product offerings for modification and make recommendations for implementation of new products as necessary to remain competitive and achieve our profitability goals.
  • Responsible for maintaining an awareness of treasury management industry trends
  • Responsible for maintaining an awareness of rules and regulations pertaining to treasury management
  • Protects all confidential information obtained on the job by safeguarding it when in use, filing it properly when not in use, disposing of it properly and discuss it only with those who have a legitimate business need to know.
  • Completes all assigned training courses in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to: Compliance, Information Security and job specific trainings.
Qualifications:
  • Four years prior retail or business banking experience; treasury management experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of the bank operations and risk management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of treasury management products and services
  • Proven sales planning and new business development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple projects/deadlines effectively
  • Solid understanding of financial statements including but not limited to tax returns, profit & loss state-ments, income statements, balance sheets, and other business financials
  • Well-developed interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates
  • Good accounting/math skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately
  • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software
  • Ability to maintain confidential customer information
  • Ability to read, write, understand and speak English clearly
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner

This position is a full time position with hours of 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday with the flexibility.
